New Apple Computer 2023 – A pair of reports published today may reveal Apple’s 2023 laptop and iPad designs. If this is true, big changes are in store. Literally big: Apple is working on a 14.1-inch iPad Pro and a 15-inch MacBook Air.
Both reports are from reliable sources. Ross Young announced the 14.1-inch iPad news today, along with Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman’s detailed report on the 15-inch MacBook Air and the unannounced M2. Macs with Pro and M2 Max chipsets were released according to a possible release schedule.

According to Young, the upcoming giant iPad will have a MiniLED display equipped with Apple’s ProMotion display technology. The announcement follows earlier reports that the 14.1-inch iPad Pro will be powered by the M2 chipset and feature 512GB of storage and 16GB of internal storage. Similarly, the M2 chip will appear in smaller versions of the iPad Pro.
New Macbook Air
Rumor has it that the MacBook Air will also increase in size. According to Gurman, Apple plans to release the largest version of the MacBook Air in the spring of 2023. The company was previously reported to have discontinued the 15-inch version of the 13.6-inch MacBook Air, which was announced earlier this week at Apple’s 2022 developer conference. Gurman’s report also claims that Apple is developing a new 12-inch laptop and aims to launch it in 2023 or early 2024. When released, it will be Apple’s smallest laptop since the 2019 12-inch MacBook.
New high-end MacBook Pros are expected to hit the market in late 2022. These laptops are expected to be equipped with improved versions of the M2 chipset called M2 Pro and M2 Max. Since this product line has been relaunched, few changes are expected apart from the new processor.
Earlier this week, Apple held its annual developer conference, where the company unveiled a number of new products, including the M2 chip, a redesigned MacBook Air, and new versions of its desktop and mobile operating systems. Apple may release several new iMacs in 2023, focusing on new Apple Silicon processors and improved integrated technologies. One of those options could be a revival of the iMac Pro with features similar to the Pro Display XDR. However, the 27-inch iMac line has been discontinued, so it may be a while before it’s refreshed again.

Rumors surrounding the design of the 27-inch iMac began in 2021 with the introduction of the 24-inch iMac. Initially, the report showed a similar design to the M1 processor, with several color options. However, according to the latest information, the Apple M3 processor could be used in the new iMac Proin 2023 or later.
Conflicting rumors and reports are nothing new for unannounced Apple products, but for a product like the iMac, both sets of reports could be true. Apple has used a similar approach with its iMac line in the past. Previously, Apple sold the 21.5-inch iMac, 27-inch iMac, and iMac Pro in various product levels.
It’s unclear what Apple’s plans are for larger iMacs. The 27-inch iMac was discontinued after the Studio Display and Mac Studio were announced at an Apple event in March 2022.
New 15 Inch Macbook Expected In 2023, 12 Inch Model Questionable
Very few rumors talk about a bigger iMac, but it’s still possible. Some speculate a 2023 release window with M3 series processors.
We’ll take a look at the capabilities of both new iMac options below. Apple could announce a larger version of the color 24-inch iMac with a professional processor, or a redesigned iMac Pro with a consumer-grade processor, or both.
Like the 24-inch iMac, the new larger model will be slimmer with reduced screen bezels, smaller bezels and the same overall thickness. The previous 27-inch iMac weighed almost 20 pounds, and thanks to the redesigned design, we expect it to weigh much less.

The choice of color depends mainly on the type of processor you are using. If it’s a professional-grade iMac with Pro and Max chipsets, Apple will only release it in gray or silver with black bezels. The consumer-grade M-series processor will be available in multiple colors and will have a white bezel around the display.
Apple is discontinuing the space gray Magic accessory with the iMac Pro in 2021. However, new color-matching accessories may come with the new iMac Pro. The new Magic Keyboard has Touch ID, but it’s only available in other colors when you order a specific iMac color. Apple only sells the basic white version separately.
The updated 27-inch iMac will be slightly thicker than the 24-inch model in terms of airflow and cooling. The M1 Pro and M1 Max may be high-performance processors, but they generate a lot of heat when running intensively.

The display stand may be the same design as the 24-inch iMac, which isn’t ideal. Many are clamoring for a new iMac stand that can be adjusted, but it is doubtful that Apple will implement such a design for this model.
According to rumors about the new iMac, Apple will increase the size of the screen by reducing the bezel around the screen. This gives users a 30- or 32-inch display similar to the Pro Display XDR.
However, in recent reports, analysts and leakers seem to have settled on a 27-inch screen size for the new model. This suggests that Apple will instead reduce the size of the bezel around the screen.
Apple Rumoured To Be Readying A Mini Led Monitor For 2023
As with the color design, the display technology used will largely depend on which processor Apple uses in that machine. The iMac Pro model will have ProMotion, mini-LED and higher pixel density. The consumer-oriented model will have a similar display to the existing iMac 5K, with little or no change.
The 14-inch MacBook Pro and 16-inch MacBook Pro have a major display upgrade over their predecessors. Apple will make similar changes to the redesigned iMac.
ProMotion is a 120Hz variable refresh technology. This means scrolling content, animations and some video games will look smoother, and more content will run smoothly at higher refresh rates without worry.
Apple May Release 15 Inch Macbook Air, New Mac Pro And More In 2023
Apple may introduce mini-LED backlighting to professional and non-professional models, but according to some rumors, it will not be used at all in the larger iMac. If done, the screen will have darker areas and will be able to show black space more clearly.
One report suggests that the larger display may not have as many dimming zones as the iPad Pro or MacBook Pro displays. It is not clear whether the implementation of the technology with larger screens is to reduce costs or due to technological difficulties.
While it won’t have a larger display, Apple can increase the overall resolution to achieve higher resolution and 2x Retina scale. This means using a 5.5K display, similar to the 24-inch iMac that uses a 4.5K display.
Apple Said To Be Planning 12″ Macbook, 15″ Macbook Air And 14.1” Ipad Pro For 2023 Releases
According to new rumors from March 2022, Apple will not release new products with ProMotion in 2022. So either the new iMac isn’t coming, or it won’t come with ProMotion.
There are several processor options for the new iMac. According to rumors, Apple will focus on professional-level hardware in this version, so it will get Pro or Max-level chipsets.
Customers will be able to choose between processors when configuring their machines. For example, the current M1 Pro has a 10-core processor with a 16-core GPU, while the M1 Max has a 10-core processor with a 24-core or 32-core GPU.
Upcoming New Apple Products 2023: A Complete Guide
Unlike the Intel models, Apple does not offer a discrete graphics option. Instead, the integrated graphics of high-end M-series processors will be sufficient for most applications. In addition, neural engines and media engines built into processors increase the performance of certain tasks.
The M1 Pro and M1 Max support up to 64GB of RAM and up to 8TB of SSD storage, which will increase in future generations. These processors allow more Thunderbolt ports and shared I/O, but the upper limit is unknown.
If Apple decides to make a consumer iMac, it will wait until the M2 processor is announced. The M2, like the M1, focuses on improving the performance of low-power tasks, and although it will launch later, it will not surpass the M1 Pro and M1 Max.
Apple To Launch Its Rumored 27 Inch External Mini Led Display In Q1 2023
In April 2022, Mark Gurman rumored that Apple would wait until late 2023 to introduce updated iMacs with M3 processors. This includes a consumer-oriented model and a possible new iMac Pro, but that date could not be until 2024.
Apple will likely switch to a 1080p webcam similar to the 24-inch model. It won’t bring Center Stage to any Macs yet, but it could launch with the new 27-inch iMac.
Center Stage is a feature introduced for the first time on the 2021 iPad Pro. The ultra-wide selfie camera tracks the user’s face and expands the field of view when another person enters the frame. This is currently an iPad-only feature.
Apple Mac Pro, 15 Inch Macbook, And New Homepod Arriving In 2023
It’s unclear what ports will be included with the new iMac. In any case, whether it’s an iMac Pro or a consumer machine, it’s likely to have more ports than the 24-inch model.
Starting with the M1, there are three or four Thunderbolt 4 ports
