New Disney Cruise Ship 2023 – Today we announced plans to complete the cruise ship formerly known as Global Dream in Wismar, Germany. The ship will be redesigned with some re-imagined features under the expertise of the world-renowned Walt Disney Imagineers.
The new ship, which will be from the United States, will offer new Disney experiences with exciting entertainment, world-class dining and the legendary hospitality service that distinguishes the Disney Cruise line. The exterior will be decked out in the fleet’s signature Mickey Mouse colors, complete with signature tailpipes.

The 208,000 ton ship is expected to be one of the first in the shipping industry to run on green methanol, one of the cheapest fuels available. Disney Cruise Line expects a passenger capacity of about 6,000 with a crew of about 2,300.
